N201MKTurbo Posted December 23, 2021 Report Posted December 23, 2021 To remove the cotter pin, just snip it in the middle and all the pieces will just fall out. You don't have to remove the gear door links to get to the brakes. I always talc the inside of the tire instead of the tube. It makes less mess. I use a piece of cardboard if I'm working on the floor, or I work on a wooden bench. Did you repack the bearings before you put them back on? 3
Yourpilotincommand Posted January 15, 2022 Author Report Posted January 15, 2022 There was no way to remove the caliper bolts unless I removed the gear door link.

Thinking about it a bit. I don’t remove the bolts until I remove the caliper. I just pull the bolts back enough that the caliper can be freed and then pull it out with the bolts. 1
