GeeBee Posted October 19, 2021 Report Posted October 19, 2021 So I purchased Gee-Bee Aeroproducts baffle seals. The rear and sides are readily apparent. What I cannot figure out is what order these pieces go around the forward baffling. Anybody done this work on an M20R?

He’s done a bunch of these (including my Ovation). So, there’s more than one Gee-Bee?! 1

So, there’s more than one Gee-Bee?! Yes… One is a great pilot with tremendous flying experience… The other is a great manufacturer of all things silicone rubber… and other materials... Let’s invite @GEE-BEE AEROPRODUCTS to stop by and see if he can give the first GeeBee a hand… Go MS! Best regards, -a-

Figuring out where they go, especially if you don’t have original baffling, is part of the fun. You don’t even have to pay extra for for the smiles it brings when you figure it out. I found a couple pictures on MS and they fit.
Guest Posted October 19, 2021 Report Posted October 19, 2021 I just installed a set on an Ovation. Sadly I didn’t take pictures. All of the seal locations make sense once you lay them onto the metal baffles. The only thing I do differently is tighten the spacing on the rivets, which there are plenty in the box. Clarence
201Steve Posted October 21, 2021 Report Posted October 21, 2021 I spent a full day and multiple eyes trying to figure it out. Nothing worked. Ended up cutting and “making due”. A sad ending to what started with great optimism.
INA201 Posted October 21, 2021 Report Posted October 21, 2021 I don’t know if this helps at all. This is a 1978 J model baffling install.
