  1. Mine will brighten or dim when rotated left or right. Don’t know how it comes off. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. “To troubleshoot, I retracted the gear, climbed to a safe altitude, put the gear back down and pressed the gear switch with my finger. The red light extinguishes, but green light does not light. “ Oops. Different situation. Sorry. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. The contact switch is a brass tab that extends into the down lock block. Mine had been bent slightly upwards so I jacked up the plane, swung the gear, gently bent it down a little... problem solved. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. I had a great time following your adventures! You’re a great storyteller! I am a little sad that it’s over. [emoji3526]. Thanks for posting the pictures along with the story! I have a 1964 M20C Mark 21, and I’m hoping to make a cross country trip like that in the future. Thanks again for sharing such fond memories of your life! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. I know it’s a little overdue but I took my daughter Ashley to get some pie at 0S9, last Sunday afternoon. The Spruce Goose Cafe is famous for their pie. Had a terrific flight up from 1W1 with good vis and little turbulence. We got up there 3 minutes after they closed (neglected to check their hours. [emoji19]). So we flew back and got Shari’s pie instead. [emoji16] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Try Ozium Air Sanitizer? You can find it at Walmart in automotive section. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. I slip my C all the time with full flaps. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Looks just like mine. I would say that it’s normal heat shielding. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Everything went well. Thanks everyone for the advice! [emoji3] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. I could slide it ...just couldn’t lift it out. Ended up slamming it forward and lifted it off then slid back and lifted it out. [emoji3] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. I got it. No panels to inspect under carpet. Thanks you guys. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Pulled the cotter pins on the track on right seat and have tried moving forward and backwards to see if it will come off. Not happening... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Oh, ok. I kinda see how to remove front seats but not the rear. How is this done? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. I thought the spar was inspected through the panels under the wing and belly. Why do they make no mention of removing interior for 100 hr inspection? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Next question: do I have to remove the carpet on the inside of the cabin for the annual? Are there inspection plates in the floor? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
