Does anyone else have a little "wiggle" in their control yoke?  I can push/pull the yoke at the edge (around where the hand grips are) and feel a definite click as the yoke rotates around the mounting bolt without moving the shaft fore/aft. The movement in the yoke is scarcely visible though.  Is mine the only Mooney with a wobbly yoke, or is that normal?

I've been digging through past posts, Mooney Service Bulletins/Instructions and the SMM, but haven't found any description of the allowable play at the control yoke itself, although there are defined vertical free-play limits for the rudder trailing edge.  At what point would you be worried about this?  Any ideas how I could eliminate this movement?

In addition to the through bolt, there is an allen set screw in one side of the hub which may have worked loose.  Sounds like this to me.  Do not let your A&P get overly aggressive in tightening it given the yoke shaft crack problem.  Last annual we screwed the set screw all the way out and re-installed it with a little regular strength thread locker.  Seemed to fix the problem.  If the yoke shaft crack inspection AD is due you might want to have it done at the same time.

Should not have any play.  As Steve mentioned there is a 5 year AD on the shaft for cracking.  A loose yoke won't help.  The set screw actually seets a tapered pin.  Somebody may have replaced the pin with an undersize bolt.  Have your mechanic take a look.
