Hello folks! I am currently looking to purchase a Mooney and wanted to gauge possible interest in a partnership. Im open to most models with J being at the top of the list but ok with a C as well. If you have a partnership formed or would be interested in forming a new one, please let me know!

Yes! Hello there. I am also looking at a few Mooneys and looking to become an owner of this esteemed aircraft! I have a pre-buy scheduled for one in Ocala next week for a M20C that doesnt fly anymore(only 20 hrs in the last 14yrs) but has been hangered its whole life.  

Have you done your research on mooneys? Flown one already, or all interest is by the numbers and fame they have?

I'm actually located in Miami area, but have been looking at HWO as a home base hopefully. Still quite difficult to find an open tie-down, let alone a hangar but its location is  great! Whats the budget your looking at spending btw? Send me a PM if you feel more comfortable

@Miami_Mooniac you might check with @patriot3300 regarding that Ocala based Mooney. He was looking at one that sounds very similar to the one you described.  If it is the same one, he might be able to offer you some insight.

Unfortunately the aircraft I was considering turned out be to big of a project(mostly based on info from a A&p on the field with said aircraft)and It is based at airglades.

Miami mooniac although I have no insight to share on the Mooney at Leward it’s appears from your other posts you are headed in the right direction:)

the one that looks like it was hand-painted but still doesn't have a straight line on it?  I'm at Airglades a lot and I've never even see anyone look at that airplane.  I just assumed it was abandoned.  I've never seen it move.

Yes,It was advertised on barnstormers a while Back and the owner claimed it could easily be made ferriable.

Your description reaffirms what an A&p on the field had verbally described to me.

It appears to be a complete basket case indeed:(
