PEDRO Posted April 11, 2020 Report Posted April 11, 2020 We want to know how to correlate the cockpit intercooler readings to manifold pressure guage in the cockpit Quote
jlunseth Posted April 11, 2020 Report Posted April 11, 2020 Turboplus publishes a chart. I would send you a copy of mine, but it is in the airplane which is out for the annual. You can get it from Turboplus. You may have the Turboplus differential temp gauge, you need that number, of if you don’t you need to know Induction Air Temp and Compressor Discharge Temp. The differential temp that is used in the Turboplus charts is the difference between the two - how much cooler the IAT is for having gone through the intercooler. However, most people have found that the Turboplus chart is quite conservative. Quote
carusoam Posted April 11, 2020 Report Posted April 11, 2020 @Turboplus we have a turboplus guy around here somewhere... (operations question) aka @Jeff Shapiro https://mooneyspace.com/search/?q="Jeff Shapiro"&updated_after=any&sortby=relevancy Best regards, -a- Quote
