Ragsf15e Posted March 16, 2020 Report Posted March 16, 2020 Interesting... you sure it’s a ‘68? I own 68-0164, F model, 1968 has the fixed step. Quote
charlesual Posted March 16, 2020 Author Report Posted March 16, 2020 Actually, it’s a 67. Typo. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Quote

charlesual Posted March 19, 2020 Author Report Posted March 19, 2020 Thanks Igor,I wasn’t entirely sure about that. Thanks!!Do you happen to have one?Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Quote
Igor_U Posted March 19, 2020 Report Posted March 19, 2020 I do. One installed on my '67F, but not for sale. Seriously, my parts manual shows p/n 840008 but only for C, D and E models and not F. Maybe manual for 68 would show the p/n for F but I don't have it at work. Quote
charlesual Posted March 19, 2020 Author Report Posted March 19, 2020 Thanks again Igor. Glad to have a p/n. Cheers,CharlieSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Quote

Thanks, Charlie Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Not clear what you are looking for. Are you looking for the sheet metal on the step or the trim around the skin? Picture would be helpful. There are a few guys who sell parts who can likely help. @Alan Fox or @Jerry Pressley Quote
charlesual Posted March 19, 2020 Author Report Posted March 19, 2020 Looking for the Sheet metal that screws into the base of the step. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Quote
Browncbr1 Posted March 19, 2020 Report Posted March 19, 2020 Looks like an easy candidate for OPP i don’t think my 67 F has that 1 1 Quote
charlesual Posted March 19, 2020 Author Report Posted March 19, 2020 Figured I could buy one (even if it was beat up and remanufacture one. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Quote

charlesual Posted March 20, 2020 Author Report Posted March 20, 2020 Sounds like a likely match. Think it could duplicated?Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Quote

Do you have flush rivets all the way back like the previous years? Quote
charlesual Posted March 20, 2020 Author Report Posted March 20, 2020 Affirm flush rivits and twisted wing. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Quote
M20F-1968 Posted March 20, 2020 Report Posted March 20, 2020 Clean wing, maximum flush rivets on wing, recessed inspection plates. Johnson Bar, hydraulic flaps, twisted wing, smooth elevators and smooth long rudder. (and now all J model speed mods except inner gear doors) John Breda Quote

I get 155+ ktas here in Florida at cruise power settings. Up north it’ll cruise in the yellow at 5,000ft msl on cold days. Quote
Igor_U Posted March 20, 2020 Report Posted March 20, 2020 Google says Preferred Airparts in OH has 840008... you could see with them if it's good for F. Quote
