Scott Dennstaedt, PhD Posted February 20, 2020 Report Posted February 20, 2020 FYI: At the end of March, the National Ceiling and Visibility Analysis (NCVA) product will be terminated. This is due, in part, to the modernization of NWS online resources and outdated satellite masking dependencies. Therefore, this product has become unsupportable and is considered no longer scientifically valid by the NWS. 1 Quote
Unit74 Posted February 23, 2020 Report Posted February 23, 2020 So how does one see the big picture now? Has a new ceiling product been pushed out? Quote
carusoam Posted February 24, 2020 Report Posted February 24, 2020 Question for @Scott Dennstaedt above... ^^^^ -a- Quote
211º Posted February 25, 2020 Report Posted February 25, 2020 Gosh, I miss the GFS MOS that ForeFlight used to have - I can’t figure out why the NWS stopped pushing that out - cloud bases and visibility up to 84 hours in the future - I felt like Marty McFly.
