Ok I'm sure plenty of people have gone faster, but for a Blackhawk driver turned Mooney pilot... Especially for a NA M20E I was moving! Great tailwind to see family! Also fine wire plugs are a near must with a surefly, problem fixed!

200+kt days are the best!

First time I had seen one was during transition training... my CFI pointed it out...

One of those... have you ever seen this before?

At first I was a bit nervous... seen what?

Oooh, that! :)

Wishing tail winds for everyone in the new decade!

Great pic, thanks for sharing it...

Modern day sailing!

Best regards,

Hi Jon

Got to love the E.  Just did top overhaul and have the SureFly as well and have been seeing some speeds I never saw before.  I like your avionics set-up.  Mine has gotten a few generations behind.  I am curious about your tach markings.  Mine has a restricted zone between 2000 and 2350, normal ops 2350 to 2500 and then narrow green arc 2500 to 2700.  Running the standard Hartzell.  Are you running a three blade or some other prop?

Nice, Jon!    Looking forward to some similar flights in my future.

Thanks for keeping us all safe.    Safe travels for you, too.

I have the scimitar 2 blade: above 24" 2350-2550 restricted.  I don't think the edm can correlate mp to different rpm restrictions so it just always has the 2350-2550 arc.
