N9937c Posted August 21, 2011 Report Posted August 21, 2011 If you compare modified Mooney to a stock Baron, You simply must compare a HARPOON to a Rocket. Google Harpoon and you should come up with a 58 with a Walter turbine. Still LOVE my Mooney! larry Quote
Shadrach Posted August 21, 2011 Report Posted August 21, 2011 I'll concede Beeches and Mooneys, but single engine Cessnas are complete pieces of $h!t!!!... Quote

jetdriven Posted August 22, 2011 Report Posted August 22, 2011 They did, its called the TBM 700. It was originally the Mooney 301, but Mooney sold the project to Socata. Quote
Seth Posted August 22, 2011 Report Posted August 22, 2011 Yes, the TBM if you look inside, the inner workings, its says Mooney all over it. The way the flight controls connect, the engineering, it IS a younger, stronger, faster, next generation Mooney. Many know, but for those who don't, the M in TBM stands for Mooney. It was originally going to be built in Texas but after the French sold Mooney, and hence Mooney was no longer in the picture of decision making, they built it in France. -Seth Quote

RJBrown Posted August 22, 2011 Report Posted August 22, 2011 Sorry Shadrach That double post was me. Thought I had lost the post and re posted. If you are troubled losing posts highlight right click and copy your own post before submitting it that way you just paste it back and re post it. I think it is a matter of time that does it. If the window has been open too long you will lose it. Quote
