LFOD Posted August 5, 2011 Report Posted August 5, 2011 Well, work situation has contributed to the sale of N5767Z. It will go up on Controller on Monday and I have not decided on an asking price. Looking for the members of the forum to make some suggestions. I am not emotionally attached to the aircraft so you wont hurt my feelings. Specs: 1984 M20J 4800 TT 1000 SMOH 500 SPOH 430W, MX-20, KFC 150, King HSI, JPI 800 w/fuel flow, Electric backup AI, Speed Brakes, Standby Vac, WSI weather Everything works, complete logs, no damage history Original paint and interior (good condition) Pictures are in my gallery. I really appreciate the help guys. Quote
Parker_Woodruff Posted August 5, 2011 Report Posted August 5, 2011 Sending you an email. I've got some good market indications for you. Quote
PTK Posted August 5, 2011 Report Posted August 5, 2011 Looks like a solid nicely equipped 201. The 201 is the most sought after Mooney. If it was me I wouldn't take anything less than $118,000. Just my opinion. Quote
flight2000 Posted August 6, 2011 Report Posted August 6, 2011 Sorry to hear that. Hope it sells quickly and you get a good price for it. From the little time I had mine up for sale, the low ballers were driving me nuts. They feel that because the entire market is in a depressed state, that ALL aircraft should be knocked down 20-30% from asking price without individual consideration for the aircraft (or even seeing the aircraft in person). Just tell them to go pound sand and it'll be a cold day before you drop the price to their demands. Good luck with the sale. Brian Quote
M016576 Posted August 6, 2011 Report Posted August 6, 2011 I would price it at $105,000 and see what sort of offers you get. Depending on how motivated you are to sell, you could flex from there.... Quote
FlyFstr Posted August 6, 2011 Report Posted August 6, 2011 It's a nice airplane. Have you plugged your numbers into AOPA's Vref? Quote
smccray Posted August 6, 2011 Report Posted August 6, 2011 If I didn't have a J under contract (see my post next week) we'd be talking. Parker can share details if he hasn't already, or feel free to PM me if I can be of any help. Quote

LFOD Posted August 7, 2011 Author Report Posted August 7, 2011 I did run the VREF and it was actually in the ball park of what I was looking to sell it for. Just wanted to hear what potential buyers were thinking. Thanks for the help... hopefully this is a painless process. Quote
jetdriven Posted August 7, 2011 Report Posted August 7, 2011 Some well-known guys in San Antonio can likely tell you what it is worth, and what it will sell for. Quote
