Fuel pressure too high; fuel servo, part numbers ending in -9 vs -11. And everything else.

Step one, confirm fuel pressure value with a test gauge.  Confirm with Precision Airmotive that the -11 is correct.

Did the second part already; confirmed the -11 is a direct replacement for the -1 and -10 and all the other -xxs that came before it. When they revise the part they discontinue the older revisions.

We don't think it's the gauge (which was working perfectly before all of this).

Current plan per A&P: "We are soaking the fuel injectors in Hoppies and will install them and lean the fuel servo in the morning. Everything else is correct so we will get it right. We will measure fuel rail pressure but the high reading is air in the line from the system being opened up."

Ask them how they lean out the fuel servo, since it is not adjustable on the Bendix RSA-5.

And how air in the fuel line can make the gauge read higher than a solid column of fuel.  Seriously, im a little concerned about the intelligence of who is working on your plane.

Air in the line can cause pulsing on a gauge. Cause air is compressible fluid is not as compressible.  Not higher line pressure.

Latest from A&P (who was a referral from one of y'all, local to NTD (CMA), and able to jump on it when I needed an A&P "yesterday"):
