Ocalafly Posted November 27, 2016 Report Posted November 27, 2016 How hard is it to remove the dorsal fin from the plane. Quote
carusoam Posted November 27, 2016 Report Posted November 27, 2016 Sheet of material, rivets, and paint... It is often done to change out antennae that are hiding underneath it. Expect that the antenna for the e-locator beacon is under There in modern Mooneys. Best regards, -a- Quote
Guest Posted November 27, 2016 Report Posted November 27, 2016 It's not difficult, you'll need a sharp #30 drill bit to remove the rivets. If you have the fuselage to stabilator fairings you'll have to remove them first, then carefully remove the dorsal fairing. Clarence Quote
