How many hours did you fly in 2014?  This was my lowest year since owning an aircraft.  92.2 hours TT.

81.3 in my Mooney Missile

10.9 in various other aircraft (Mooney M20E, Mooney M20K, F33A Bonanza, and C-172).

I'm curious to see the types of aircraft and how many - please elaborate if you have time.

Happy New Year!

Not a lot of hours (40), but more flying than the numbers suggest. Had 28 hours in the Acclaim, including three round trips from Denver to points in California. 8 hours in an Xtreme Decathlon honing my tailwheel skills, then 3 more in my RV-8. I even flew one hour in (what used to be) my Encore!

Flight time was curtailed by much more shop time than usual. Mooney was down for the last two months of the year getting an AD complied with, an annual inspection, and installation of the 310hp mod. RV was down for about a month for its first condition inspection under my watch (we tweaked a few things), and then another 3 weeks later in the year for troubleshooting and repair of an elusive fuel leak issue. The rest of the downtime was caused by bad weather and my pesky job getting in the way.  :)

Both planes are in my hangars and ready for action, so as soon as we get some better weather I hope to start really tearing it up in 2015!

My lowest total ever at 138 hours . About 15 3-4 hour trips, a couple 4-5 hours trips and a bunch of 1-2 hour jaunts to see the in laws and out laws. Not much local flying unless I haven't been up in a week or so and just want to exercise the plane.

80 hours in my Comanche 400, 60 in the RV4(grounded since September) 6 in a turbo Twin Comanche. Overall about an average year. But fuel is getting cheaper!

Managed 40 so far, but my aircraft was in the shop the entire year and I got it back in October after an engine overhaul.

But I was lucky to be able to train in different aircraft (the usual cessnas), glider at minden, NV (had to do it when passing through), a bit of heli flying (the connected yoke confused the hell out of me) and a light sport.

I just started flying this summer, but managed 110 hrs in 2014. Did most of my training in a Cherokee, then got checked out in a 172, spent some time in a Cardinal and got my complex endorsement in an Arrow just a few weeks ago. Only Mooney time so far has been as a passenger, but as of a couple days ago I own an M20C. Just gotta get it home and I can start racking up some more hours.

I was just doing my insurance renewal form today.  It came out to 115hrs.  A little less than last year - which surprised me since I did a new rating this year - commercial finished yesterday - yay!  I'm surprised it came out less since I also did some good cross countries too including several to Washington DC and Boston, once to New Brunswick, Canada and once to Michigan and once to Colorado.  Guess that's what happens with a fast plane - you log less time.  :-)  shoulda gotten a Cessna 150.

Oh - I forgot - I got 4.5 hrs of left seat in a twin comanche and 4.5 hrs right seat in a King Air C90 (not logged since left seat was not a CFI) but 0.4 hrs logged with a CFI in the same King Air C90.

700 hours in the Boeing 777 and again, only 12 landings. Go figure

700 hours and 12 landings?

Yikes!

How many in the simulator?

That's crazy. I've done almost 10 times that number of landings this year. A lot of them were pretty awful though since they were during primary training. I did 6 today though! So that divides out to one landing every 58 hours in the 777, are you just simply not the pilot flying during landings that much, or are you flying some stupidly long routes?

Four pilots, 14 hour legs. The two captains get first dibs on landings and sometimes they throw you a bone and give you one. Your lucky to get one landing every month. If not, it's off to the simulator.

203h in the Mooney, 218h on all types. Down from about 270 last year due to an unfortunate hangar incident involving a young guy who didn't understand the concepts of 'tow limits' and 'don't move another guy's plane without permission'. Getting the nose gear trusses replaced resulted in about 2 months of downtime, and a lot more frequent flier miles on the airlines.
