OP ED-"Little Timmy Wants to Know Why Nobody Likes Airplanes Anymore?

Recommended Posts

I'll have the Barrack Obama "Fair Share" clicker/counter turned on tonight.....any guesses? I am going to go on a limb and say 17 times.

You may have underestimated. But this would be a good opportunity for him to rebut some finer points of what the GOP has said about him a few short years ago:

Mitt Romney 2012 “You’re going to see chronic high unemployment continue four years or longer.” And that if elected president “we’d get the unemployment rate down to 6 percent” in four years — Obama did it in two.

“There’s no if about this. And it’s gonna be ugly… The country’s economy is going to collapse if Obama is re-elected.” – Rush Limbaugh

Michele Bachmann on President Obama’s policies: “this is really the final leap to socialism.”

Mike Lee (R-UT): Predicted the U.S. would see gas priced at $6.60/gallon.

Paul Ryan 2014:  Five years into “Obamanomics, the economy is even worse”

Why did this thread get started? It looks like Scott broke the system, and all of the early posts are being systematically replaced by these newer ones.

Does the site have a post limit or did a backup occur and wipe some of the original data??????????

Maybe we have found the edge of a flat digital realm..................

Well that is a good thing. Maybe some of the vitriol can be expunged. Everybody is mingling in a somewhat responsible way the last 30 pages.

I smell a drinking game...

Actually, the FoX affiliate here in DC did a 10 minute piece on just that, innumerating  his verbiage. "New"....44 times...."America" 77 times. Then they actually had a prop on the news set for the poor sucker who would have had to drink a pitcher if it was America.

As for my comment. He said "fair share" not a single time. However, "fair shot" combined with "equal share"...14 times. I was close. He did great. Funny how oil at $30 a barrel can do that. He got his revenge on previous Republican hecklers last night, too. Even dems see through what he's doing. Campaigning for the party, living in a dream world. I thought it was ironic how he spent so much time lecturing on political behavior when he has been the worst. I also think he spent a lot of time reflecting, back tracking and explaining his policies. He's all alone doing that. But I thought it was a good night for him and he'll ride a solid bump for 30 days.

I still think he has F^%$ked America up....really bad.

Better than Joni, who couldn't even get get analogy right. You wea the bags inside of your boots, to keep your socks dry…But at least we know how she sees the future for majority of Americans.

John, you live in your dream world and I'll live in reality. Do not see how he f****d anything that wasn't already fucked up but I guess, I don't get my "news" from an entertainment channel, self-admitted BTW. For you America apparently will no be right until countless unwanted millions are born annually to wear bread bags on their shoes with no hope for anything than 12 hours a day, 7 days a week in some sort of sweatshop. That is the only future GOP promotes. Like I said, when you get onboard with my tax rate dropping to 35% from mid 40% and Mitts going up into high 50% and quit calling him a job creator, I might join back in. I'm sorry if I vote my self interest until then. When I join the $30million+ crowd, I guess, then I'll get onboard with GOP and Fox news.

So I finally watched it. If you GOP guys want to have parliamentary system, where you get to boo (or in this case, cheer), you best be quick on your feet.

Actually, I love watching the British PM get in front of House of Commons and take them on. The boos and hisses are the best part.

The relevance of the POTUS' sharp wit was a petty victory dance and undermined everything he had just advanced in his speech 2 minutes prior. I think even dems kind of cringed. Fox will play it on a continuous loop for a week....as they should.

I wasn't able to watch (not that I would have had I been home anyway), who was in the "Gallery"?

Not sure which Democrats you're talking to. To most of our friends, it confirmed out long standing suspicions about the IQ of our esteemed friends from across the isle.

No...they have been the only thing stopping Obama from running rough shot, at will, with an agenda that is out of step for 80% of Americans. You should thank them.

80%? Are you high? 50% of all children in public schools are now on free or reduced lunches, the other 30% scrambles every month to make ends meet. If you were to remove Jesus and Muhammed from American politics, GOP would at best score 20% of the vote. And that would assume that every person in that income bracket was dumb enough to not realize they are one good car accident away from joining the other 80%. Prior to ACA, once in such accident, a person would become uninsurable forever and their individual insurance could be dropped a month later. Don't get me started on the benevolence of insurance companies. I've been in the business since 18 years of age.

What policies of Obama affect bottom 80% of population in negative ways? Not one I can think off.

And maybe you should have watched the GOP Spanish rebuttal. Apparently GOP is for the amnesty, but only in Spanish.

I hate to say it, but I wonder how long before you'd join the bottom half if all of the sudden you'd lost your voice for some reason? Think about that.

Take the capitalistic Jesus out of the equation and tell me what policies of GOP benefit bottom 80% of population.

I read today that Ted Cruz, in his Youtube rebuttal, said that there are 92 million American's out of work.

92 million? Sounds like that would include the elderly as well as children.

Freudian slip. GOP wet dream and future for America. All conservative policies lead to his. Always have. It's the natural state of things. That I am not going to deny.

I think he gave up the pills in favor of food, although you wouldn't know it by the photos of him on the site.

If he was black or poor white, he'd still be sitting in prison somewhere for prescription fraud. Florida law mandates a 15 year sentence for 14 grams of hydrocodone. I'm pretty sure chubby had a lot more on him multiple times.

Correction: Florida law mandates a 15 year sentence when the accused is being represented by a public defender. Those paying $450 an hour for an attorney are given a free pass.

No, while many voted for him and hoped for better, most disagree with the policies he advances. He threw numbers around last light big enough to drive a truck through....like a crack addict who the lottery. GOP? 80% of the under-employed (I know...we forgot 17% of Americans are still looking for a job) back to work again. People don't buy the hope shit anymore.....they want results. And the12% of moderates in the middle? They are done with him and anyone who thinks like him.
