philipneeper Posted June 15, 2010 Report Posted June 15, 2010 looking into buying a project mooney here locally, needs tanks resealed, paint and interior. anyone have any insight on these? this will be my first mooney, and certified aircraft. i had 2 exp. class before. it also has a bendix 2000 sys. any info would help.
Piloto Posted June 15, 2010 Report Posted June 15, 2010 Unlike a new one were you just wax it, this one will definitely keep you from getting bore. That is why I don't buy new. José
flight2000 Posted June 15, 2010 Report Posted June 15, 2010 I just did a full panel upgrade, paint, and interior about four months ago. Lots of options there to get those done. Tank reseals are a little trickier and I'd go to the experts to get that done. My first stop would be Wilmar Air Services for a full reseal on the tanks. Get it done right the first time and you shouldn't have to worry for awhile. http://www.willmarairservice.com/ Anything in particular your looking for? Brian
