This is my answer 128536_orig.jpg

And do you really want pee all over your belly or tail.... or anywhere on your plane....  Making it "rain" over your buddies car in the company parking lot would be fun though haha

In gliders we often use condom catheters, usually vented overboard.  In a certified aircraft plumbing overboard can be difficult so a leg bag or other receptacle in the cabin would be acceptable and easy.  Tougher issue for women.

Ziplock bag is the only way to go! Yellow and Blue Make Green! Those pesky bottle wont vent when filling and the pressure occassionally sprays back at you, this never happens with a ziplock.

Bags and bottles are messy.

I have this behind baggage compartment. It's neatly hidden under hat rack when not in use. It's STC'd for Mooney, (Small Toilet Commode!)

The problem with relief tubes and aluminum airplanes is corrosion. If you go that route, you'll want to take all of the preventative measures to clean it up after every flight plus make sure you don't have any leakage in the tubing and connectors. In many ways, the other suggestions are a much better tong-term solution. I've known guys who use external catheters and leg-strap bags. Seems to work well for them.

May sound dumb, but I wouldn't buy a plane with a relief tube. Ick. That's as far as my mental processing gets before "ick". I also wouldn't want to clean it, or have it maintained, or share it with passengers,or...

Bombers needed them back in the day, I guess, but now there are better alternatives. Like, my favorite, planning short legs to take care of biological interrupts. :)

Short legs are for Dachshunds

No way to install an external PRT without hurting the plane from corrosion. In gliders we have seen corrosion in the ruder hinges and cables. I use quart Zip-Lock bags with a Depends insert in the bag in gliders. Easy to make and much cheaper than the other options listed. Pick up the generic brand of super adsorbent ladies diapers at WallyWorld or other similar store and pull out the gel pack. Easy to use and gels in a few minutes so no risk of spills. I like the sliding lock Zip-Locks for secure seal.

Two questions:

Is PRT an accepted aviation abbreviation?

How the heck do you steady the stuffed baggie while doing the deed? Video would help to understand it.

I don't know why, but this thread reminded me of that crazy woman astronaut who drove from Texas to Florida wearing diapers.  This was so she could kill her former boyfriend.
