    Yeah but that is go "kinda" fast mode which gives me about 195 knots true. 21-22 gph gives me about 180 knots true. Of course I can get 205+ out of her if I want to push 32+gph through it. (No thanks).

    Oh well that's just not factual info your spouting there bird boy. Round trip for me in the Mooney to ILG was about 29 gallons. In the Baron it's about 55 gallons. SOOOOO, it's close but not quite double. LOL.

    Damn!! You gonna take that Chris? As much of a ghost town our T hangar area is I would think that parking right there would be fine and there is ample room to maneuver even with planes lined up. However, I will check with the tower tomorrow and see about parking at the ramp right beside our T hangars. I will let you know tomorrow afternoon.

    Yeah come on fella's, we can fit a lot of Mooney's. Looks like a great day for flying. Attached is a map of where were located at on the field. Pay no attention to the street side entrance (unless you really want to get sporty with your plane).

    Right on!! Just think there are poor folks out there that actually paid $3K for a 796 from Garmin. AND are still paying enormous fees to have charts & safe taxi, terrain, etc........ Things that we just about get for free with the aforementioned iPad apps. Best thing since sliced bread!

    Not too many light twins have an operable sync. Hard to justify fixing them unless of course you're deaf or have no hands. ;-) Sorry for the thread drift Cody.

    Oh it's not for me buddy. My engines are turbine smooth. :-) The local flying club was just talking about having theirs done.

    That's what I thought too. It sure did look like it was floating "gingerly" down to mother earth. Although it did make quite a racket when it reached terra firma. I guess that all four folks were uninjured.

    Hey fellas, just found out we've got a trip on the 10th for work. Heading down to BNA for the day. Boss has a couple horses competing in a dressage event. Hope the weather holds for you all and you have a great turnout. Brian thanks for putting it together!! Hope to catch the next one.

    Hi Mike, We just did a trip to NYC on Friday & Saturday. We land at TEB and park at Meridian FBO. They are a first class operation and always take great care of us. I'm not sure what the fees are for a Mooney these days but with a Baron we purchased 30 gallons (6.73/) and there were no other fees other than the airport fee which is minimal.
