  1. Lots of info here. Search for eddy current or check this
  2. Do you get the old bearings handed to you ? If not you're getting hosed - make that a condition of payment -
  3. That statement requires the lights to be on at all times for the tail beacon (ads-b) to work? Don't seem right
  4. Is the tail beacon requiring an independent power run?
  5. Given that the end isn't frayed or otherwise disfigured - the best way would be to extract the inside cable - put a pan or other container at the end of the outer cable and spay in your favorite creeping lubricant till it comes out relatively clean into your catch basin Next de-grease in solvent lube and reinsert the inner cable in the housing - repeat as necessary then reattach to the parking brake valve. And now that I've put it here I have a to-do this weekend!!!
  6. Take a look at migflug.com. I did the L-39 and highly recommend it forgive the music
  7. Isn’t this the one involved in the recent fatality?
  8. Still think it’s the easy fix watch the cable end at the valve whilst pushing and pulling the knob. I’m betting you’ll see movement of the outer cable (which is undesirable)
  9. That valve is closed. Where’s the outer cable clamp and is it tight? If that clamp is loose the inner cable has no chance of releasing the valve.
  10. See that make's perfect sense - your system is drained - go do all the things at once - else you're going back at it in a short time anyway. Even though there's not a formal TBO stuff tends to have cyclical life -
  11. Pull your inspection panels close to the wing root - any seep will be apparent - to gauge the severity clean any stain and recheck after flying a few times.
  12. What good GA airports are around the Tampa area - and what's the going availability and rate for hangars??
  13. Actually T51 is Dan Jones International airport...landed there - once are you thinking of T82 ?
  14. Black Walnut Cafe - great breakfast as well!
  15. Probably just needs some TLC - I've not had much use for it in Texas - and last time I did try to "crack" it for a little heat I got a LOT of heat - tried to shut it off but no Joy. I know it's the flap version with the heat in and another short hose hanging for the heat out. Just thought there might be something out there that had a more robust and positive shut off.
  16. Is there an upgrade or replacement to the existing cabin heat box for a 67 F?
  17. Those aren't flat spots - they are tactile speed feed back indicators.
  18. Ah sorry mine’s not that fancy. Just an annoying buzzer that can be confused one for the other.
  19. we sure it's not the gear warning?
  20. Sorry. Long day....,
  21. Thinking the trim remark was for the shade not the suction cup
  22. I had them but they would fall off unexpectedly in the lap.
  23. Need to replace that coffee grinder? Pulled the white strobe from the belly - includes the white lens and a combination white / red lens, along with the mounting ring - came off my 67 F.
  24. Do you have a link to that one? Thanks - Mike
  25. $1,900 for the GDL-82 / Garmin GTX 327 package (Oshkosh special) $57 for the push to test amber light $21 for the switch $120 for the coax (personal preference to replace front to back) runs 4.60 a foot $25 for the 4 conductor wire (positive, negative, ads-b fail and anonymous mode switch) $25 misc coax connectors I pulled the interior and reinstalled - @ Five hours worth of A@P time to wire things in and mount the unit and antenna
