My 65 E is for sale , It has 3800 on a NDH airframe , 100 on a field overhaul , 130 on prop , SWTA Cowl Mod , Dual MK12 D s , Dual G/S , Long range bladders , I am local and am only asking 35K , The bad is the PC servos need overhaul , one bladder has a leak (maybe just needs gaskets ) It has Johnson Bar , and 2 year old gear discs, New engine hoses , newer elt , PMA6000 audio panel , Northstar M3 GPS , King digital TXP , GEM engine monitor , JPI fuel Flow , I will post some pics...

Pics attached , No repairs cracks corrosion or stop drill holes.....

No pics on plane as they are already removed , However they can be replaced in about two hours , You will have to do it on jacks , as you have to swing the gear to rig them properly....

Is a Flying rats ass watertight???

I have a panel on mine , (Beech) and the paint sucks , My Mooney has great paint , and lacks in the panel , When you are flying it the paint does nothing for you , but the panel does..... When you are selling , the Paint makes for an easy sale over the Avionics.....Go Figure....

I got an example two years ago , that sat in a hanger for 10 years or so with a fresh engine , when parked , and still cant get my money and time out of it..... If you cant get it for free , or the value of the cores, Don't buy it.....

I bought a new one for 599 and gave them my bad (skytech) and got a 350.00 credit ....

I dont know how you can compare any Mooney to a Long Piper , or A 36 for passenger comfort , They have Club seating , they are Frigging HUGE , The Mooneys are faster , but in reality if your Missions are typically less than 250 to 300 NM , the speed is not a huge factor , in reality ... over 500 NM the speed will come into play .... as far as fuel burn , the 6 cylider mooneys burn comparable to any Big 6 Cylinder ....The shorter trips dont realize the advantage of fuel economy like the "J" does....If Fuel burn is critical , There is really not a plane that will fill your mission totally , as said before its a tradeoff ...... but the J is a good fit , if most trips are with 3 or less people....
