  1. Awesome! Welcome to the addiction!
  2. Its funny how many people often think I raise my gear to soon since "what if I had a problem." I try to explain that it takes less than a full second to get the gear up and down...when they fly with me they realized just how quick it is and usually are pretty impressed. I love our gear
  3. Stripes.....whats a stripe!!??? JK! Stripes are good too!
  4. Looks awesome!!!!! Congrats now you need to get some good air to air shots....if only I was passing through!
  5. What does something like that run??
  6. When its really rough you have to be careful. I have had leaks but it was before I got into flying into the dirt strips like I do now!!
  7. go to youtube.com and type in piperpainter that'll take you to my movies and give you an idea what a Mooney can do when you use ever bit of the performance they offer. They may not be designed for the backcountry/bush but they can do a great job on some of the decent fields out there!
  8. I've been a bit behind on the seat thing. I really need to recover from a few other things first. Then i'll dive into that. I have to get a few more pictures from a guy that had it done too...he's yet to call me back so I'll try again. I plan on trying to get this done before Oshkosh...we'll see!
  9. I have a concord with extra cranking....why....because its awesome! KNock on wood I have yet to have a problem with it dying even when its cold outside it puts out plenty of juice to get her going! 13. yes I still love my paint job! I have had so many comments on how many people like it. Its different from what you usually see and thats what I wanted its "Me!" Just like Mitch said, Artcraft does the whole works and they make your airplane look amazing. I plan on going back down in June before Oshkosh to get the plane completely detailed as part of the paint job deal! I can't wait to visit Mitch and Jolie some more plus I am having them do some other things....gonna make her look new by a few simple things!
  14. Info in hand....ohhhh yeaa!!!! When I get home to my home computer I'll be able to examine the documents. I can only do so much from work.
  15. I might have tracked down all the info needed to do this mod...hopefuly by the end of the day I'll have all the details! More to come soon!
  16. I can't help but I know Jim and Me were talking about this. I hope they let you do what you need to.
  17. Is this based on the value of your airplane? They are trying to do this to us in WA with a 1/2% of our aircraft value each year. But jeeze, if you have to pay up to 8% a year that is rediculous and outragous.
  18. I have a M20C with a 1005Lbs useful load. I love it!
  19. I used a stick from the home depot. Just like mentioned above I had the tank drained (for MX reasons) and when I went to fill it I just put 5 gallons in for a start then did different increments from there markingthe ones that are important to me. I think I did every 2 gallons.
  20. I heard it was $3000.00 I am trying to get ahold of some pictures and information on the 337 so I can maybe do it with my mechanic. Then we'll do his! But think of how awesome it would be to have the seats fold down......you'd have so much room!
