  1. This was passed along to me during my MOH, this is the only one that I have.
  2. This is 800310, hopefully it may help M20M Wiring Diagram.pdf
  3. That's my norm right there. I'm in Tucson. I have to climb to altitude slowly to avoid anything over 400.
  4. Just to update, the scavenge pump was removed and sent back to Airmark Overhaul where they overhauled the pump completely under warranty. A shout out to Lenny at Airmark Overhaul, who took care of the pump at no charge. There are zero leaks after the pump was reinstalled. I have no more leaks (at the moment) Aramark overhaul completely overhauled my engine a few hundred hours back, and I have been extremely satisfied with their service. Good people.
  5. Last Tuesday, had a meeting in Chandler, AZ. I live in Tucson, so instead of driving, I decided to fly the Bravo and take an Uber from the airport to the venue. Leaving Chandler, I had to use a towel to control the yolk because it was so hot. Living in AZ, we are used to it. I love to fly, even when it's super hot outside!!!
  6. I have a great transport company if anyone needs the info, Used them twice recently. Very reasonable. PM me if needed. They hauled a Lexus from AZ to Louisiana open, and a Land Cruiser enclosed. Not a scratch.
  7. Welcome, Scott.
  8. I have them on my 1989 Bravo,
  9. @carusoamyou're all over MS, thanks for the input !!
  10. I really need to do this + that baffling,
  11. Yep, always looking, and this drip showed up on the front tire. As always, I appreciate your input.
  12. I make many cross-country flights, often from Arizona to Louisiana. I do know the POH states the Bravo requires 10 quarts of oil, but from experience, anything over 8 quarts results in a belly full of oil. Because of cooling, I always fly between 8.5 and 9.5 quarts for longer flights, and over time my Bravo settles at a 8 quarts. The engine doesn't burn any oil, I may add one quart of oil every 25-30 hrs. I constantly and meticulously check the wet head fittings for any leaks, there are none. I usually see a little oil on the front wheel gear door from the blow by, but recently I was noticing oil slightly dripping on my front tire (approximately 3 to 4 drips). After doing more investigation, my mechanic found that I lost a bolt out of my scavenge pump when he was changing the oil this week. I normally change my oil every 25 to 30 hours. All oil samples are normal. He ordered a replacement bolt and another seal and will take care of it, but like any aircraft owner, it makes me concerned that maybe the overhaul shop did not torque the bolt, and it fell out or it was inadvertently left out during the last engine overhaul? Has anyone ever experienced losing a bolt out of their scavenge pump, resulting in an oil leak? What other the places to look for oil discharge from the TIO 540 AF1B besides the blow by, wet head fittings and 33 hose connection points?
  13. Damn, son that looks nice
  14. Try this, M20M Wiring Diagram.pdf
  15. I asked Bard this question and it said: It is unlikely that AI will completely replace pilots in the near future. However, AI is already being used to automate some aspects of flying, and it is possible that AI could eventually take over some of the more routine tasks that pilots currently perform. This would free up pilots to focus on more complex tasks, such as decision-making and problem-solving. There are a number of challenges that would need to be overcome before AI could completely replace pilots. One challenge is that AI systems need to be able to handle a wide range of situations, including unexpected events. Another challenge is that AI systems need to be able to make decisions that are in the best interests of passengers and crew. Despite these challenges, it is possible that AI could eventually replace pilots in some cases. For example, AI could be used to fly small, unmanned aircraft. AI could also be used to fly long-distance flights, where human pilots would not be needed to rest. Overall, it is likely that AI will have a significant impact on the aviation industry in the future. However, it is unlikely that AI will completely replace pilots in the near future.
  16. This happened to me, too but they eventually came right. Took about 10 months for them to free up.
  17. Don't ask for permission, ask for forgiveness. Gubment
  18. Hey that paint job looks great! That panel also looks sweet! Congratulations, plane looks awesome. Lot of work went into this paint job. My son, who is 16 said yesterday when we were flying to Sedona and looking for traffic, "people should paint their planes other than white so that you can see them" I need to show him this!
  19. I have a 1989 Bravo with Sigma Tek gauges. Happened to me 3x since MOH, once immediately after oil change. The 3x it happened was within the first 20 min or so on short flights less than a hour. My JPI also doesn't have oil pressure so I can't cross reference. I tap the Sigma Tech and it comes right all 3 times. I constantly check my oil, and change it every 25 hrs. Never happens on multiple cross country flights 6-7 hrs. 29MP 22 RPM is my sweet spot. Plan is upgrade engine monitor and panel soon.
  20. AEROLEDS SUNSPOT 4596 LANDING LIGHT 01-1030-4596 I installed 2 of the sunspot landing lights and really like them. While I was as it, I also replaced all other original bravo lights and strobes with LEDs, The Arizona sun is intense, and I really wanted the extra safety with the NAV lights and strobes during the day, too. I got some useful load back and got rid of the extra drain on the electrical system.
  21. Where is the location of this area on the bottom skin?
  22. Good catch!
