    Rebuilding is easy, getting it out, harder. Some of the seals are Leather but the Kit has them all. Once installed AND bled it’s easy to adjust the return rate. Goodluck.

    Still wanting Dave’s cowl but saw a ARI on eBay in the Houston area. Anyone know anything about it? Also, would have to find spinner too? And: Anyone install wing landing lights with 337 or STC in a pre-J with Mooney supplied parts? Just curious. still not flying F..

    Here is what is installed in my 67 1/2 (68) F. It has the Prestolite Atl.

    Could be....As you know, the slowest of the Mooney’s but still a Mooney! 45 Hours on Prop and Eng indicates that it had a Prop strike. Rockport: Look for Coastal Corrosion, Hurricane damage, the Engine WILL have Tappet/ Cam corrosion but if Cam Guard has been used then could mitigate some...Get him to fly it up to JD at Southwest Texas Aviation in Smithville for pre-buy, then decide.
