  1. Hi, you have yours listed on eBay? Mack
  2. Display toast.
  3. Hello...The 64’ C that I fly occasionally has a KLX135A that has never worked for as long as I’ve flown it. I didn’t realize that it was a GOS/Comm, I wondered why he only had 1 Comm! Anyways it’s annual time again and he asked about getting it repaired or replaced. I’ve seen many listed on eBay but at what I think is really high, well for the capability. Is it because they have the Comm side too that makes them them $$? ($2200.) This owner just flies this C in the Texas and is not a Mooniac so he is not savy about new stuff nor does he want to spend $$. Heck, I’m trying to talk him into installing a used EDM 700 and a 1970’s DG! Thoughts, Suggestions?
  4. Got sucked into the “Auction” action!
  5. I was thinking the same thing! It went way too high for me!
  6. I’m sure many saw the J that was being auctioned off in TN. Well as I figured it went really high IMO based on pictures taken and 1st hand account of. A friend happened to be at airport were it was parked and minutes before auction was to start did a FaceTime walk around with me. It needed way to much work and too many unknowns for me to bid, besides I was not going to go over $30k. That happened in 3 minutes! Anyway, we all want to see this J in the air so keep us posted! And Goodluck.
  7. Hey all, Many probably have seen S-Tec 30’s for sale for under $4k complete. Worth the cost vs the Brittain? Thoughts?
  8. Aircraft Ignition Service is the new go to place. 903.378.7205.
  9. I was looking at bidding on that J that was in TN. I was disappointed in hearing that it had this Magneto. My thought was to pull the Engine and swap out the Accessory Case to support dual mags....
  10. Sure would have! Have fun at work this week! Thanks.
  11. In town for a few days and would like to go fly. Any Mooniacs in the area? I’m by the OB airport...
  12. This thread has taught me one thing at least; The different generations of the same airframe can be vast and complicated! Oh, and EXPENSIVE!
  13. Jerry, Have you seen this plane in person? If so, any corrosion? Mack
  14. I was referring to partnership...I’ve got an but it’s a long way from the air!
  15. Too bad that’s not in the DFW area!
  16. Buy for $30-35k because it will get bid up, spend another $40-50k getting it right and you will be close to what they are selling for basically. On the other hand might get lucky.....
  17. My brother alerted me to this. He said watch the news, it will inspire you. It’s about a 100 yr old flying his Mooney solo. I responded with: Are you saying I’ll be that old when I get mine flying?
  18. Don, too bad you are not in the Ft Worth area!
  19. Sorry to say but lots of great parts! Need to make a trip over to ASOD to get some things.
  20. Hey, I’m in Weatherford and someday I’ll have my project “F” going. What happened to you is my worst thought, especially after all the work!
  21. All I can say is, “well crap”!
  22. But what is the difference in this cowling and the one that Bob put on his?
  23. Looks great but I’m a little confused...Is this different than then cowling that is being installed by the outfit in N. Carolina?
  24. Just wondering about this airplane. It’s now based at my airport. Would like like to meet owner. Mack
