Apologies for the rehash!! My stratus stopped working today on my way back home. I Really didn’t enjoy flying without it. Now looking at something new. I am curious to anything/new technology current for ads-b in. The price of the Sentry is much better,but I am wondering if anyone has used both? I use ForeFlight , and both Stratus and Sentry, advertise similar for ads-b in which is what I am most interested in,as I don’t fly in questionable weather. Any insight is appreciated. And doesn’t necessarily need to be Stratus or Sentry. Thanks in advance. Thomas

I have an F, similar equipped with much better engine times when purchased. I paid $70k, and felt that was a little high at the time, 2 years ago. But the plane was local and my Mooney mechanic said it was top shape. Get an F ,but don’t pay J money!

I have an F. My mechanic has a C. My payload with full fuel, 64 g is 649#. His payload with full fuel(50g I think)is 639#. Maybe a few knots slower but still darn good performance. Thomas Church

My G3X screen went black after takeoff once, glad I had the backup 275. Then it rebooted and has been fine since. 6 months at least.

I purchased this unit last year from Alan Fox with the intent of installing of course. Link to last years sale, Well as you see below in Last picture, I decided to go another way. This has been sitting in my kitchen for a year, never installed, wife decided its time for me to sell it. So I am pricing this in such a way as to move quickly, and take a bath at the same time. Oh well... I have taken updated photos, of everything included, nothing less, nothing more. I don't know any other details about the item, or what it takes to install. But should be a good unit for someone for a long time. Shipping will be around $80, am willing to fly and meet within 100 miles of KMRN,after a 105 deposit or you can come get your annual at AGL Aviation Services and I will meet you there. Not to hijack the thread, but , I have a polished spinner and polished two blade prop. I’ve been told that when it needs overhauled that I can no longer have a polished prop. Any one know if there is any truth to this? Thomas

No way I would change anything at the moment. Assuming everything works as it should,I would fly that baby and save some $$ Did not notice an AP.If it doesn’t have one , then I would definitely consider installing one. Nice Plane!

That brisket is the ticket. Shoot, everything I have ever eaten there was good. My girls just graduated Sandhills CC, so was there quite a bit. Never flew in, just to Southern Pines and drove there.

When flying west, I always fly north of Mt Mitchell . There is a gap in the mountains that is typically a much smoother section. Even at 10k The turbulence at Mitchell can seemingly come out of nowhere and sometimes scares the daylights out of me.
