  1. Previous owner called mine “keeper “. Not sure of the origin. Naturally my wife just calls her Foxtrot.
  2. I’m sure I have seen this in the past but can’t seem to find the thread. Looking at moving to a bigger hanger as they don’t come available often, but don’t know what I would do with the extra space. Therefore not sure if I should. Thanks in advance. Thomas
  3. Doing a 10 minute run up in front of my hanger seems to be the norm when im tryng to put my plane up, SMH. Would like to say this is isolated, but truth is , these things happen in all walks of life. It just seems magnified when interjected with flying. Glad it worked out for you.
  4. I actually enjoyed the movie. Lots of flaws, but it’s a movie.
  5. Facing backwards Right knee on passengers seat, right hand on rear seat so not much weight on passengers seat back, roll in. Basically opposite to dismount. Works well for me.
  6. Thanks for the insight. Just purchased the far/aim and knowledge test prep from Gleim. We will see. Thanks again. Thomas
  7. So I purchased Shepard air last year and couldn’t seem to get the hang of it. I simply do not care for it being iPad based, I like book versions. Anyway looking for suggestions to study for the written test. Thanks in advance. Thomas

  10. Decided based on your opinions, to go with the inertia for pilot and static for co-pilot. Cost for parts was around $1500. Not sure what labor will be. Will update when completed. Thanks for the insight. Thomas
  11. Sounds like the Following planes didn’t plan very well. That’s on them. ‘Thomas

  13. So I’m having shoulder harnesses installed in my 1967F model, the question is should I do the inertia real type or the static type?(not sure if that’s the proper description.) There’s only a $300 difference so either one will work I just don’t know what are the pros and cons of each are Thanks in advance
  14. I agree , 100%. Was very fun, watched several times already . No probably not real world, but very fun no less. Thomas

  20. I was 120 hrs in a C172 , to the Mooney, Now almost 300 hours, Still learning but it is worth it. And I recommend Dons video on landing as well!! Thomas
  21. I would like to say go for a refund and raise sand until you get it… Reality is I probably would just move on. If you feel it would be constructive to drop a note, to make the mechanic aware, I would not hesitate. Some folks take criticism well, others, well you know…. Glad you are safely past this. Thomas
  22. Great job! May we all be so fortunate and skillful should it ever occur to us. Regards, Thomas

  24. Just received this, not sure where to post it, thought someone out there may be wanting to sell theirs. I do not. And I do not know any of the parties involved. Thomas
