KSMooniac Posted March 25, 2010 Report Posted March 25, 2010 Brian, nice work! I'm about to put my plane down for annual, but perhaps later in April we can have a rendezvous and photo session. There is a cluster of Mooney owners down here in Wichita and I have a couple of friends that are photo geeks and pilots, so we can work something out easily on a weekend! Also keep in mind the VMG fly-in for the 17th in Llano, TX...excellent BBQ and a great opportunity to do a group flight south from KS. I'm planning to have my plane back in service for that trip. drpep Posted March 27, 2010 Report Posted March 27, 2010 Well done Brian, I am impressed with the elegance and streamlined flow of the new paint. As a fellow 67E owner I can certainly identify with your Mooney in more ways than one. My plane was painted 8years ago and recently I have begun to do small touch ups; nothing major. I don;t know if my plane flies any faster with the paint job done but it sure turns heads on the ramp as I am sure yours will do. Best Regards Philip Quote
flight2000 Posted March 27, 2010 Author Report Posted March 27, 2010 Hi Scott, Right now, Llano is out as I have another obligation that weekend already. I'm going to make one of these before I deploy in July. We are coming down to Witchita to visit family in May, so a dry run in April would be cool. Thanks, Brian Quote
