PTK Posted April 29, 2013 Report Posted April 29, 2013 I'm seriously considering upgrading my landing lights. I like the HID lights because they seem so much brighter than LED's. Has anyone done this? Is there an STC for the Mooney? Also I really like the pulsing capability. Is there a way to select between pulsating mode say for example during the day, and steady on mode for landing at night?

I used an existing STC data for another make and model and submitted at 337 with DER approval. I also installed the Ovation landing lights in the winds which is probably more than you want to so.
