There are a few threads around here where they put in the 201 style windshield…. Lots of pics…
 

this is a bigger job… but, if you are painting the whole plane… you are already familiar with how big some jobs really are…

The 201 windshield moves the bottom of the window forwards across where the avionics access panels are….

So there are a couple of questions about how to handle that and what to do when you lose easy access to the brake fluid reservoir…

 

The extra few inches of space on the inside is really helpful…

The aerodynamics are better…

The amount of work is increased…

An STC may be required… there used to be two different ones to select from… one had smaller access panels that were good to have…
