Chris Strube Posted November 29 Report Posted November 29 Does anyone have old Brittain parts? I need a servo boot, MOD BJ-706, P/N 2413-6-0. With high hopes, thanks in advance.
McMooney Posted November 29 Report Posted November 29 wait a couple weeks i'm replacing my whole system 1
Chris Strube Posted November 29 Author Report Posted November 29 waiting with bated breath... Jerry Walters restored my whole system before he passed. It's worked perfectly for hundreds of hours, and still works well, even with a torn boot. I had the vacuum line to this boot capped today, to ease the load on my pump. I'm excited to have it perfect again. regards,

I haven’t flown with a patched one but I have one in storage patched just in case. 1
JoeM Posted Monday at 12:04 AM Report Posted Monday at 12:04 AM I have boxes full of extra parts for these systems. If you still need a boot, I can test them and see which ones dont leak. PM me 1
McMooney Posted Monday at 12:43 AM Report Posted Monday at 12:43 AM mine works great when the boots are healthy. I wonder why more companies didn't adopt those vac servos, whole system can be maintained for a few hundred bucks instead of thousands per servo

And it would require planes to keep the vacuum pump that many remove when installing the TV screen instrument panel. 1

Chris Strube Posted Monday at 04:26 PM Author Report Posted Monday at 04:26 PM Jerry Walters did my system in 2015. I had the Accutrak and altitude hold added to the original PC. 1
cliffy Posted Tuesday at 03:25 AM Report Posted Tuesday at 03:25 AM I flew one in a Navajo 45 years ago and it worked fine I took out my Accutrac for my Dynon install and Aerocruze 100 A/P It works fine also. I have almost 2 complete Huff & Puff A/Ps in boxes that will be going up for sale in a few weeks to the highest bidder :-) Along with all the radio stuff I took out. 1
