Just wondering if anyone has installed the CC3251 Snap-Vent from Univar? We had them in the UH-60 and they were great, would assume they would be a Minor Modification to install since they are not PMA'd, can't beat the price ($35 a pair) and it would provide a vent for the right side for significantly less than replacing the side window with a vent.

You might find them very noisy all the time in flight

Try opening the left side vent window and see how noisy it is.

Also the left vent ha a speed restriction for some reason Does this vent system have any restriction?

Thanks, they are standard on the UH-60 Blackhawk which I flew for 20 years, they do have a 120kt limitation but I didn't see what thickness of material that was based on as I believe we had 1/4" door windows on the UH-60..Was thinking more for airflow during taxi, etc. If it's no louder than the left side, that would be fine as with the DC -1X it isn't bad....I appreciate your time, definitely something to consider.

This is much cheaper and easier.

On my plane, I trimmed  the arm off and remove it when not in use. 
The amount of air it beings in is more than you would think. I don’t even usually open the door during taxi. No use in flight, but is a great solution.

Only cheaper and easier if you have a window that already has the cutout, my window doesn't, I do however have this scoop on the left side window.

Oh, I missed that you wanted it for the copilot side. I always found opening the door and the scoop to be more than adequate. 
I seldom open the door with the scoop now. Even during the summer. 
the window in the door is pretty simple to change and an owner can do that.  None of the side windows, except the windshield), are terribly complicated to change
the window itself isnt that expensive either. 
guess you have nothing to lose by putting that into your window to see how it works.  If i doesn’t work you can change it with a new one that has a vent.

Looking for a cheaper option for my wife/passenger, with the age of the windows, if I replace one, I'll replace them all and a $36.00 solution is more preferable than a $600 new copilot window with the vent ;) Eventually I'll replace all of the windows before it goes into paint, but until then just looking for something that works ;)

Had those in a 210 in Texas. Only air we got. They work great. No speed restriction as far as I know. Up at altitude and during the winter would shut them down. Only drawback was cutting the windows. Have to be very careful not to crack the window.
