Electric Trim Switch

I had some intermiten auto pilot trim issues on my Bravo and was told to replace the electric trim switch. Unfortunatly, I replaced the switch with a new one and that did not fix the problem, my switch was good. I found the AP disconnect to be the culprit, so I now have my old electric trim switch for sale. New switch prices are anywhere from $650 to 975$. I'll sell mine for $450 with free shipping. And it does work good!

My trim switch is going bad in my M20K-231.  It's coupled to my KFC200 auto pilot.  If yours is the same switch I would be very interested!

Hi Rick,

I would say if yours is a split switch nine pole it would work, but I'll call King avionics tomorrow and verify. It was coupled to a KFC150 auto pilot in my plane when removed.

I'll be at the airport tomorrow and I'll pull mine out and see if it looks like the pictures.  I'll also check with the avionics shop on the field to get their opinion.  Let's talk tomorrow and compare notes!

I paid $80 for a new one a couple years ago, but I got lucky.

Good morning Rick,

I just spoke with Jim at King Avionics in Olathe KS (913-829-4606) about the switch. He said for you to take a look at yours, if it is physically the same, electricly it will be the same. He said in some rare cases a odd-ball switch was installed in a few planes but hes almost sure you will have the same switch in yours.

Wow! $80 is an awesome buy! I think I had that much in solder on the back of my new one. lol!
