AJ88V Posted September 2 Report Posted September 2 Anybody know anything about these guys? Seems like a lot of instrument(s) for the money. Says primary flight display for certified aircraft, but having trouble finding documentation. Small display that wouldn't take a panel rework: https://grtavionics.com/product/mini-efis-generation-ii-advanced-package/ Larger display https://grtavionics.com/product/sport-ex-efis-advanced-touch-package/ Opinions compared to the big guys (as in Garmin G5 or GI275, which is what I have been thinking about)? Thanks! Quote
toto Posted September 2 Report Posted September 2 Looks like almost everything they sell is for experimental category a/c … where are you seeing the certified units? 1 Quote

I think you're right. Totally wishful thinking on my part. Upon rereading, there are statements about "IFR Certifiable" which in no way means approved for certified aircraft. It sure would be nice if the FAA could sign off on some of this tech. Our Mooneys aren't really heavier than an RV10, and affordable instruments would go a long way to making for a safer fleet. Quote
