I'm excited to announce that Gallagher Aviation is now an authorized LockNLube reseller.

We only stock and sell products we use or have used, and endorse, so this is one of them! If you participate in owner assisted annual inspections on your aircraft like I do, have you had the joyous experience of greasing your landing gear? Ever take your grease gun, hook up to the zerk, and watch the grease go everywhere but into the zerk?

A LockNLube Grease Coupler fixes that! I didn't believe it until my buddy introduced it to me, and what was a lengthy and frustrating experience wasting grease turned into a quick exercise during annual.

I carry the standard LockNLube Grease Coupler, the extended Grease Coupler (XL), which is handy to get to the zerks in the main gear assembly, LockNFlate Air Chucks for filling your tires, a digital inflator, and more. I will continue to add more in the future too.

I love the LockNLube concept. However, I have some problems with the ergonomics of the device. Besides the Mooney, I own and maintain 2 Howard Price wide area mowers for maintaining the county airport. Each machine has 21 grease zerks that require regular service. When the LockNLube attaches properly, it’s great. But a miss connection generally results in the device becoming greasy and not that easy to grip and squeeze to attach. I chatted with the LockNLube owner/investor and he was quite helpful in that he sent me repair parts for the tip. Good guy.

There is an alternative device out there (don’t know its name) that doesn’t require the squeeze-to-connect. But if your not an old guy with arthritic hands, you will like the LockNLube, I’m sure.

I’ve got a LNL for greasing my equipment, but the fitting is too fat to fit some of the recessed zerks in some excavator pins. Because of that, I need to have two grease guns, or quit using the LNL.
