Garmin Pilot Scratch Pad

When using Scratch Pad on Garmin Pilot, I can only get a very wide line when using either of the writing tools. When annotating the map, the pencil and highlighter work as intended, but not on any of the Scratch Pad pages. Is it just me?

If you hit the pencil icon, there’s a little slider that allows you to choose the brush thickness (on the left). If you slide this all the way to the left, does it get thinner?
