Gascolator stat-o-seal

Gents,

Seems (according to a service center) I can use either (600-001-5/8) or (600-0101-5/8) on my M20J (24-0520) gascolator. Ordered the 001 one. It seems way thicker than the one currently installed. 
Anyone experienced the same?

Martin do you have the Dukes style gascolator that’s combined with the fuel selector? If so, that’s what I have. I recently replaced the seals on my gascolator. I bought The seal for the bowl bolt. It’s from Parker Hannifin p/n 600-0101-10. It worked perfectly. Gerald

Thanks everybody and sorry for the late answer.

@M20Doc I bought mine from a German parts seller (aps aviation parts service) don’t know exactly where they get them from. As far as I understood, it’s a part by Parker Hannfin. I’d say aps ordered it from some US aviation parts distributor, or from PH directly.

I operate as u, replacement if necessary. Let it pass another round at the last annual, but had it on my list this year.

Try Genuine aircraft hardware. They have a selection of stat-0-seals. Their catalog is better than spruce for hardware. 
It’s not the one from brown as they do MFG the main gasket for the gascolator.
