pilot-as14 Posted January 28, 2023 Report Posted January 28, 2023 Hello, I can't find out the part number of this shock absorber until now. Can someone please tell me where I can find a new or used one? Thank you for the reply! Alex
pilot-as14 Posted January 28, 2023 Author Report Posted January 28, 2023 Many thanks! Is this letter enough to get ARC, or do I have to buy this paper from Mooney as STC?
pilot-as14 Posted January 28, 2023 Author Report Posted January 28, 2023 I printed out this picture, but the quality is very poor. Can you please send me this letter scanned into pdf to my e-mail address at some point please? That would be very nice of you.

There was a Service Bulletin or Service Letter on Mooneys website….. might check there
PT20J Posted January 29, 2023 Report Posted January 29, 2023 There is a note in the J service manual stating that it can be removed, so you might check your service manual.
Hector Posted January 29, 2023 Report Posted January 29, 2023 I have a 67 C and it does no longer have that. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk Pro
AIREMATT Posted January 29, 2023 Report Posted January 29, 2023 From my C model- Here is the reference number to remove it. Sorry the copy is poor, that’s all the MSC had for a copy too.
pilot-as14 Posted February 11, 2023 Author Report Posted February 11, 2023 Hi, many thanks to everyone who replied to me. I don't have to install the shock absorber and that's very gratifying
pilot-as14 Posted February 11, 2023 Author Report Posted February 11, 2023 Work on the M20 continues. I've been waiting for sealant here in Germany since September! And now, when it gets warmer in my workshop, I'll do the tanks. It look bad. This work scares me. I would like to commission someone to do it, but nobody in Germany does that... and how are you supposed to get the 11 m long wing there ? A Mooney is really something different than a Cessna

A Mooney is really something different than a Cessna Mastenbroek Aeroskill is a Weep-No-More representative, so they can probably handle your tank issue.
