bcbender10 Posted March 8, 2020 Report Posted March 8, 2020 (edited) Hi all, My EDM730 display does not show numerical values for EGTs. It only shows CHTs and TIT. How do I "turn on" the EGT value display? Thanks. Edited March 8, 2020 by bcbender10 Quote
ArtVandelay Posted March 8, 2020 Report Posted March 8, 2020 It’s been a while, but I think go into programming mode by holding down LF and step buttons. If not on the first list, you go into a second list. Quote
bcbender10 Posted March 8, 2020 Author Report Posted March 8, 2020 THanks. The only mention of EGTs I could locate is display EGT to 1's (vs. 10 degree increments) Quote
bcbender10 Posted March 8, 2020 Author Report Posted March 8, 2020 (edited) Update: the display issue is not related to the new parameters the MSC added. here's a pic of the EDM730 display before the work. The EDM730 manual shows the CHT bars should be white, and the CHT temps white. In my set up, both are green. Is that a clue? Possibly relevant is that the EDM730 is an upgrade from an EDM700 which was factory installed. EGTS are showing in the rotating displays on the bottom of the screen and are properly recording and downloading via the USB port. Here's a pic of the display before the new parameters were added: Edited March 9, 2020 by bcbender10 Quote
Hector Posted March 9, 2020 Report Posted March 9, 2020 Once I had my 730 not behaving right and I downloaded the latest firmware and it corrected the problem. If you do that go to settings first and write down the k value for the fuel flow transducer as you will have to input that after the firmware upgrade. I’m not saying this will fix it, only something to consider if your firmware is not the latestSent from my iPad using Tapatalk 1 Quote
