Robb Alpaugh - N252YL Posted October 31, 2019 Report Posted October 31, 2019 1986 M20K (252) Oil Pressure gauge/transducer inop. Mechanic says that Mooney says they are unavailable. Anyone have ideas for replacement source? Transducer Part No. PCDR 820 100psi 10V Quote
kortopates Posted October 31, 2019 Report Posted October 31, 2019 The smart decision usually at this point is to go with a modern approved for primary engine monitor rather than spend $ with no return for the old analog gauge. To delay the inevitable, be sure to check eBay and salvage yards.I have the gauge, but don’t think I have the sensor.Make sure you have the right part #, 10V sounds suspiciously like a 231 part #Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Quote
jetdriven Posted October 31, 2019 Report Posted October 31, 2019 (edited) The Mitchell 0 to 150 psi oil pressure sender is only 40 bucks from aircraft Spruce. Unplug the sender. Ground the wire that goes to SEND on the back of the gauge cluster. If your op gauge goes from full left to full-scale right respectively in the gauge is OK. Replace The sender and roll-on. It’s a wear item Edited October 31, 2019 by jetdriven 2 Quote
