Hello everyone, I am Jim Hamilton and I am a new owner of a 1981 Mooney M20K.  I live in Park City Utah and I chose the 231 for its high altitude abilities.  I bought the airplane in Texas and flew it back here a couple of weeks ago and I was thrilled with it.  The leg from KPUB to home was picturesque and it was nice to fly VFR for a change.  I flew at 12,500 for most of the way and I still had to poke my way around the many 14,000 foot peaks.  I look forward to chatting with you in the future, Jim Hamilton

Welcome to the Cult of Mooney, Jim. You'll find a lot of passion about our particular flying machines here. I hope you enjoy your "new" Mooney for many years to come.

Welcome Jim.  The 252 was a great choice for mountain flying.  If you haven't already done so, get yourself some training/experience for mountain flying and some oxygen, then clear all those peaks and enjoy the ride.

Welcome to the clubhouse Jim!!  Is this your first Mooney?  I just bought my first Mooney the at the beginning of the year.  They really are great little airplanes and I have been having a great time with mine flying for fun and commuting to work.  Be sure to post some pictures.

Lots more to come Jim.  Maybe think about doing and Ambassador event in your area too!  It's our opportunity as Mooney drivers to help educate folks about the positive aspects of general aviation to our communites.

Again, enjoy your new love!

Dang.  And I was just in Park City a week ago and would have loved to see your new to you Mooney.  I took a quick mountain flying refresher in Heber with OK3Air and was treated great.  I agree with fantom, where are the pics?

Welcome Jim.  Don't worry, if I see you flying near me I will pull back on the throttle of my M20C a bit so I won't embarrass you in that M20K!

Hi Jim and welcome to our little piece of the internet. I am sure you will love your new toy.

And let me get out my little old "A" model and we can start that race at 20,000 FT!
