N201MKTurbo Posted October 20, 2018 Report Posted October 20, 2018 (edited) ISC - Griffon is a major player in the military and airline electronics business. Those headsets are not a cheap piece of crap. How do they work? Edited October 20, 2018 by N201MKTurbo Quote
Piloto Posted October 20, 2018 Report Posted October 20, 2018 Plug them up in your plane. I am sure they still work. José Quote
FlyChickie Posted October 20, 2018 Report Posted October 20, 2018 I don't have anything useful to add, but I want to be sure I don't miss any comments of someone who might - this is very cool. I hope someday to have my Grandpa's A&P license. Quote
rbridges Posted October 21, 2018 Report Posted October 21, 2018 they remind me of the media lab headsets (minus the mic) were wore in elementary school in the '70s. Quote
carusoam Posted October 21, 2018 Report Posted October 21, 2018 Hola, ¿que pasa? Roberto... They look modern up to the new millennium when gel filled ear seals became the norm... The bingo card ad with the circle this number advice went away with invention of the .com option... The ad is interesting in the way it points out communication for take off and landing... not for the rest of the flight? So it may only be 20 years, but that IS a generation ago... They will work... you will miss the modern gel ear seals and electret (directional) microphone... resulting in a little excess noise... Best regards, -a- Quote

Mikey Z Posted October 21, 2018 Author Report Posted October 21, 2018 Thanks for the info. My plane is under annual and full interior resto. When I get it back in late November, I’ll plug them in and see if they still work. Quote
