Avionics Source Posted July 6, 2017 Report Posted July 6, 2017 (edited) We are having an blowout on new overstock Aspen ATX100 and ATX100G 978 MHz ADS-B Transceivers! The Aspen ATX100 series is the perfect ADS-B In/Out solution for aircraft owners who fly below 18k feet and have both Aspen Evolution PFDs/MFDs and Garmin GNS avionics. UPDATE: Sold out. For WAAS GNS owners: The ATX100 transceiver provides an ADS-B In/Out solution for aircraft equipped with a Mode A/C or Mode S transponder and a WAAS 430W/530W. The ATX100 can depict ADS-B In weather and traffic on Aspen Evolution PFDs/MFDs and traffic on GNS series. This approved interface allows you to use the existing GPS position from the 430W/500W and eliminates the need to install a costly GPS antenna saving you time and money. A UAT antenna is required. For non-WAAS GNS owners: The ATX100G provides an ADS-B In/Out solution for aircraft equipped with a Mode A/C or Mode S transponder without a compatible WAAS GPS navigation receiver. The ATX100G transceiver has an internal WAAS GPS sensor and depicts ADS-B In weather and traffic on Aspen Evolution PFDs/MFDs and traffic on GNS series. Requires a $290 WAAS antenna (not included). KSMooniac Posted July 6, 2017 Report Posted July 6, 2017 Chase, I'm not exactly in the market for this right now, but am leaning towards an Aspen. I currently have a 330ES so I'm compliant with the OUT requirements already. Can this box be configured for IN only? I would want traffic/wx on an Aspen if/when I go for one. In fact, I just sold an ATX100 to a BeechTalk customer who will be pairing this with their Evolution 2000 with a $0 ADS-B unlock. There's no cheaper way to get "in" presently. Just turn off all the "out" functionality and the installation is even more simplified. 1
