Throttle knob, to repaint or replace

My throttle knob looks out of place after my interior upgrade (see photo below).  Any recommedations on how to repaint or where to source a replacement knob.  The repaint route needs to be sweety palm tollerant, so what paint has a high gloss and finger proof?

 This is for an 1984 M20J

I'd keep it if it matches your yokes...

Look on the bright side, with a throttle that ugly you'll want to touch it as little as possible -- keep it firewalled as long as you possibly can

I had one very much like yours until my buddy asked me if I let my dog control my throttle with his teeth or what. I took the hint but it was a bit sad to let the old one go! Now if I could just get the mixture and the prop controls were they are supposed to be.

paint it unless it is very hard to move. Hard to replace and expensive.
