Hank Posted November 8, 2015 Report Posted November 8, 2015 Thought this would be a good game. So far, it is! Still a ways to go . . . War Eagle! Quote

wishboneash Posted November 8, 2015 Report Posted November 8, 2015 Too bad. After losing to Alabama, A&M has been struggling! Ex-Aggie here. Quote

Although I am completely disappointed in how this season turned out, hype over substance yet again. 2 Quote

wishboneash Posted November 8, 2015 Report Posted November 8, 2015 That's what I meant.. Duly humbled. Quote

I understand you were speaking in lay terms for the Mooney Masses. Congrats to Hank and all Auburn Alumni, and all Alabama Alumni, and for that matter, any Alumni from any other teams A&M plays for the rest of this season. George, Class '78, Former Student 2 Quote
cliffy Posted November 9, 2015 Report Posted November 9, 2015 Who cares? They're all amateurs! Pros hit harder :-) :-) Quote
KSMooniac Posted November 9, 2015 Report Posted November 9, 2015 Ugh, What a disaster, again. For the second consecutive season the wheels have come off for my Aggies! Sumlin made a bold move to help the defense after last season, and now he must do it again for the offense. Otherwise he'll never get over the hump I fear... Congrats to Auburn! My favorite school from the state of Alabama. I hope to fly to our game there next season. Quote

Scott, just do like I do and call this season "a year of rebuilding." With luck, we will get a bowl bid sometime in early December. Maybe. Give me a headsup for next year's game. I do have a spare bedroom, we're about an hour from the stadium now since I changed jobs in June. Quote
KSMooniac Posted November 9, 2015 Report Posted November 9, 2015 I'm sure we'll both make an un-important bowl and move on... at least any bowl turns into valuable extra practice time. I appreciate the offer and will definitely try to rendezvous with as many Tiger fans from here when we make the trip. I've enjoyed our move to the SEC and am looking forward to visiting a bunch of new stadiums after completing my Big XII tour years ago. So far I've only been to Fayetteville and Oxford. Earlier I thought I'd make the trip to Vandy this season, but I need to go to TX that weekend instead. Oh well. Good chance we blow that game too. Quote
Mark89114 Posted November 9, 2015 Report Posted November 9, 2015 A bunch of my college buddies and myself are heading down to CLL for the big Western North Carolina game....... Camaderie and drinking will be more entertaining than then the game I think. Quote
N33GG Posted November 9, 2015 Report Posted November 9, 2015 I don't think the defense is over the hump yet either. Auburn is by far preferred to Alabama. Alabama has become the new TU for me. Wheels came off of the Aggies? No, the wheels, wings, prop and tail came off, and unfortunately, they didn't have a steel cage like the Mooney. Ugly!!! Quote
