romair Posted September 22, 2015 Report Posted September 22, 2015 My fuel pressure has had fluctuations ever since installing an engine monitor. After a lot of troubleshooting without any real result, we decided to try putting a snubber fitting to see if it stops the fluctuations. Any idea where to get one and what size it needs to be? I've read multiple threads about the snubber fittings, but no-one seems to mention where to get one from or the size that would fit the fuel pressure line.... Thanks Stefan = '89 J Quote
kortopates Posted September 22, 2015 Report Posted September 22, 2015 You don't mention which engine analyzer nor where you are seeing the fluctuations. But would it be a JPI 900 or 930 where you see noisy fuel pressure? If its any of the JPI's, contact them, they will either try to fix your problem with a s/w fix or send you a snubber. Quote
romair Posted September 22, 2015 Author Report Posted September 22, 2015 its an EI MVP 50. Apparently they do not provide snubbers... Quote

Thanks Stefan = '89 J Normally the fuel pressure is taken from the fuel servo finger screen body and is between the servo and the oil sump. The fitting should already be a restricted one. The hose size normally 3/16" or -3. Clarence Quote
