Nice round patterns indicate uniform heating/cooling/seating of the valve.

Doesn't look like a lot of stuff depositing on the valve's surface.

I'm only a pilot, not very mechanical...

25 dollar Chinese ebay camera.   Yes, you can see both valves but there isn't much to see on the intake side.   Useless for cyl. walls.

I'll have to look but I'm guessing these jugs have 500+ hours on them.  All LOP except the break-in.   Never run over 375 for any length of time and I cruise the hottest at 350.  330-340 for the rest.   Usually 2,4,and 1 are all within 5 degrees CHT and 3 runs plus 10 or 12.   The #2 shows a wet bottom plug and requires a hot compression test to present good numbers.

Burns/leaks a quart of Aeroshell 100W every 4.5 or so and the oil turns pretty quick. (it's always been this way since a top overhaul)   I'd like to pull the #2 and remedy issue but she runs great.

#2 shows an asymmetrical concentration on the valve.  Is it on the bottom most portion of the valve?  I pulled my juges just shy of 900hrs to have the crank case rebuilt. My exhaust valves were reddish orange in the center becoming gradually darker as you look outward.  Very little in the way of deposits on my valve faces comparatively.

#3 used to be my hottest. I did the Braly mod to my #3 cylinder and it now runs slightly cooler in cruise than #2. #3 is still hottest in climb, but by a smaller margin.

What's the braly mod? I removed my oil cooler ramp baffle and it cooled #4 down by 20 degrees or so

You've already tried it. The thin bit of baffle seal material I used as a wedge to create more airflow behind #3. Well, the renowned George Braly did it before I did it as a bandaid to improve cooling to cyl #3 as installed in the C177. The cessna's cylinder is butted right up against the baffle wall without even the benefit of the pocket our Mooneys have.

Robert,

I was looking at the one you posted and saw another one down the page...

If this link works....

The housing is a bit smaller and less rigid compared to the first one.

Accessibility and reach of going down the spark plug hole is the only thing I am referring to...

This technology keeps getting better quickly...

I'm gonna give this camera a shot.  The removable 90 degree mirror looks handy for looking at both the cylinder walls and the valves.

Amazing how cheap this stuff is.  Do i still gotta go in for my screening colonoscopy  ?

Your colonoscopy could probably be DIY. Use the hook attachment if you find a polyp.

Yeah that sounds like a solid idea.  Will post pics if it works well (of the combustion chamber, not the colon).
