OR75 Posted August 18, 2010 Report Posted August 18, 2010 I (think) I know where most items are but I have trouble seeing where the voltage regulator is in an early J model Anyone has an idea where it is located ?
preinke Posted August 18, 2010 Report Posted August 18, 2010 In my 77J (SN 284) it was inside on firewall upper right. The landing light ground was attached to the same screw as the regulator . The original was an OECO . I used a Zeftronics 15300 with an adapter (patch cable) . The 1530B has the right connector for the OECO but is not "elgible" for the M20J (BS -same box) If you want to move the regulator in a more convenient place the patch cable affords that and the 15300 is a bit cheaper. I put mine where the original was. Have been very happy with it. Paul 77J KIKV
