wishboneash Posted February 16, 2015 Report Posted February 16, 2015 http://youtu.be/g0vp2kw4Cs4 Sorry for the jerkiness, it was shot in time lapse mode so sped up about 12x to 15x normal speed. 3 Quote
Jerry 5TJ Posted February 16, 2015 Report Posted February 16, 2015 Cool, but didn't Norcal object to you passing thru their Bravo airspace at Mach 2? Quote
wishboneash Posted February 17, 2015 Author Report Posted February 17, 2015 I was denied entry into Class B, but I probably did break some speed limits in the vicinity of Class C/D based on the video! LOL. It is in fact possible to fly from Livermore to Half Moon Bay without talking to any ATC (except for the tower at LVK) and I have had to do it a few times especially on the return from HAF due to congestion on 135.65 which is the main approach frequency for SFO for 28R/28L. bonal Posted February 19, 2015 Report Posted February 19, 2015 Nice flight, HAF is a great destination. I always feel that I get to,fly in some of the best airspace there is with so much variety within my non stop range. Thanks for the vid. Quote
par Posted March 6, 2015 Report Posted March 6, 2015 I grew up in Union City and I have always wanted to take a flight around the bay. I'm def going to have to plan a trip to the Bay someday soon. Enjoyed the video! Quote
