rdv Posted July 21, 2010 Report Posted July 21, 2010 Whats the price of avgas where you are? BC Canada, $5.78/gal Quote
tablor Posted July 22, 2010 Report Posted July 22, 2010 I wouldn't be able to fly anywhere at those prices! I regularly fuel at KRFI which is at $3.10 right now. Generally I'm paying closer to $3.60 on average, but I always check airnav.com before deciding where to stop. Texas = cheap fuel! Quote
DaV8or Posted July 22, 2010 Report Posted July 22, 2010 In the area it spreads from about $4.40 to $5.45 for self serve. Quote
mooneygirl Posted July 22, 2010 Report Posted July 22, 2010 Oceano California and Jackson Westover California $4.50 Quote
FlyDave Posted July 22, 2010 Report Posted July 22, 2010 A friend of mine flew his 210 to the east coast last week and landed at Teterboro in New Jersey. He paid $60/night for an OUTSIDE TIEDOWN and $8.60/gal for 100LL. Unbelieveable!! Quote

dmevans Posted July 22, 2010 Report Posted July 22, 2010 $4.57/Gal  - KHWD Self Serve Before APP opened the self serve pump on the field, I would usually fill up at Lodi or Tracy. Quote
jasonwojo Posted July 22, 2010 Report Posted July 22, 2010 $3.43 in Hinton, OK (K2O8) via their self-serve pumps...West of Oklahoma City, by-the-way... Quote
Magnum Posted July 22, 2010 Report Posted July 22, 2010 You are so lucky in the US. Last time I filled her up I got a good price, only US$ 10,75 / gal. But I am in Germany. I know why I fly a Mooney over here. Quote
conom06d Posted July 22, 2010 Report Posted July 22, 2010 Quote: DaV8or That's what I do unless I'm short on time or just tired. I'll stop on the way home at a place like Rio Vista, or Byron and tank up at a dollar per gallon cheaper and then fly home. The upside is, you get to do one extra landing for practice on each flight!
