Am running through the M20 Service Bulletins for a M20E with manual gear.

Are "actuators" only found on electric gear aircraft?

Your actuator is your strong right arm. It will soon look like Popeye's. I suggest a gym so both arms can match :-)

Same actuator operates flaps and gear...

Frugal CFI's have been known to save on the gym membership by alternating the seat they fly from.
